Decatur, IL - McKinley Court Care Centre participated in the annual food drive organized by local radio station, WSOY.  Each year, WSOY promotes a campaign, urging local businesses and organizations to hold food drives.  The goods are then distributed to the several food pantries in the area.  As we all know, the last few years have been rough for many families economically.  Sadly, it has become a Catch 22 situation, with more people needing help and less people able to provide it.  McKinley Court, along with neighboring Aspen Ridge, held their own drives.  With donations from the public, the staff and even the residents and their families, over 100 bags of food and goods were collected.  Both McKinley Court and Aspen Ridge are proud of the generous spirits of their residents and staff.
