Decatur, IL - McKinley Court Care Centre would like to announce the wonderful success of their concierge program.  Along with the weekly Administrators Tea, the concierge program was designed to concentrate on personalized service and care for our residents.  Realizing that every person has different needs, likes and dislikes, the staff at McKinley develop a relationship with each resident so as to better provide for them.  Even before the resident has moved in, our concierge will sit with them and their family to answer any questions and learn of any special needs.  For one example, it is common that when a resident moves in, they find their favorite treats and/or beverages waiting for them in their apartment.  The concierge can also go shopping for the residents, pick up their dry cleaning and even take them to appointments.  Throughout the day, the concierge also visits with each resident to see how they are doing and to pass out current magazines, games and treats.  Because of the nature of the position, the concierge quickly develops a close, personal relationship with each resident. "It's the same principle as going to your favorite restaurant and the waiter knowing exactly what you want before you ask for it." says Administrator Kim Jordan, "It makes you feel special."
