Decatur, IL - McKinley Court Care Centre would like to introduce Dalonna Gipson, CNA and Employee of the Month. 
     Though Dalonna has only been working at McKinley Court for less than a year, she has quickly been embraced by residents and coworkers alike.  Her positive attitude and dedication have made her a strong member of the staff as well as a favorite among the residents.  As a CNA, Dalonna assists the residents in their daily activities, such as dressing, bathing and transferring.
     Dalonna was born and raised in Decatur, where she still resides with her husband of 10 years, Joe, and their 2 daughters.  In her spare time she likes to read, listen to music and cook.  She is particularly fond of baking and on many occasions has brought in her baked treats to share with everyone.  Dalonna plans to further her education in the health care field and continue to work with seniors.  "I'm very close to my residents and the other staff members." says Dalonna.  "It's makes coming to work enjoyable."  She goes on to say, "This is definitely the career for me."  We couldn't agree more.  Congratulations Dalonna!!
