McKinley Court Care Centre - Decatur, IL

On behalf of McKinley Court, we would like to congratulate Sonny White for earning Employee of the Month for December, 2011.  Sonny has worked in the Maintenance Department at McKinley for over 6 years and says "I have loved every minute of it." He went on to say, "I took care of both my mother and father for years and was familiar with this environment."
Before joining McKinley Court, Sonny worked at Wagner Casting for 36 years, before retiring. He described the job as hard work and that retiring was definitely "a change of life." Judy Green, a co-worker at McKinley commented on Sonny's work ethic, "He is a very dedicated and compassionate worker; he takes pride in his work and never lets us down."
Sonny is also a dedicated family man and is involved in his church.  He has been married for over 30 years and has 6 children.  He also owns a couple of houses that he likes to work on in his free time. When Sonny isn't working at McKinley or remodeling a house, he likes to relax by riding his motorcycle or playing pool with his nephew, Ray, who also works at McKinley.
