Dr. Jones was born and raised in Boardman, Ohio. He graduated Magna Cum Laude from Youngstown State University and a member of Alpha Omega Epsilon Biological Honor Society. He graduated from Northeastern Ohio College of Medicine in Rootstown, Ohio. He completed his one-year surgical internship and four year Orthopaedic Surgery Residency at the Cleveland Clinic, one of the world's largest and busiest health centers. He was board certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery in July of 2004. Dr. Jones has been practicing in Decatur since August of 2002. He and his wife have four children.
